Legal framework
Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive
Requires large companies to actively manage human rights risks in their supply chain. Applicable to the largest companies from 2027.
Ban on products made with forced labour
Prohibits products on the EU market made with forced labour. Customs can hold products. Effective December 2027.
Labour data in the Voluntary Standard
The Voluntary Standard contains labour obligations on workforce characteristics and collective bargaining coverage. This module supplements those with the additional declarations CSDDD requires.
